COSL is taking important measures to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions before the rig starts drilling for Vår Energi in the Barents Sea. Soon after docking in February, EQON came on board the COSL Prospector to coordinate the installation of over 300 units of the EQON Control System on the rig.
EQON and Solar have entered into an exclusive distribution agreement for EQON’s products for customers in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands. Solar is one of Northern Europe’s largest distributors of electronics, supplying to several of the largest companies in many industries.

We are happy to announce that EQON’s Chairman, Mikal Løvik, has become CEO from 1 September. Mikal has been actively participating in the operation of the company from May this year.
