We are happy to announce that EQON’s Chairman, Mikal Løvik, has become CEO from 1 September. Mikal has been actively participating in the operation of the company from May this year.
Mikal is an entrepreneur and investor, with more than 20 years of leadership experience within operator companies, supplier industries, and IT companies. He knows EQON well after having been the chairman of the board of the company since 2020. Together with Robert Norum, Mikal is a majority owner of EQON through the investment company Aria Asset Management AS.
In the interim, the board has proposed Rune Magnus Lundetræ as the new chairman of EQON. Rune Magnus has more than 20 years of experience as a senior executive in drilling and finance, as well as experience from auditing firms, in addition to board work in private and listed companies. Rune Magnus can show solid results in financing, ownership, acquisitions and sales of companies, as well as several stock listings. The main owners of EQON believe he brings the necessary expertise, network, and experience in the company’s growth phase.
A separate invitation will be sent as soon as the date is set for an extraordinary general meeting in EQON, where the election of the chairman is on the agenda.
